1920’S CO-OP
Located in Chicago’s iconic East Lake Shore Drive historic district, this 1920s co-op had beautiful bones but needed a facelift. The style intention was to enhance vintage deco glamour with modern, elevated finishes. A basic white kitchen was replaced with a dramatic combination of statement quartzite countertops, lacquered cabinetry, and European details throughout. Authenticity was maintained through master craftsman elements such as the elegant plaster ceiling details in the living room. Throughout the home, curated furnishings were layered in from different time periods showing reverence to history while maintaining a cohesive feeling as you travel from room to room.
